Simply put, I became an immigration lawyer because I know full well how an immigrant feels about his or her immigration journey. As the daughter of Italian immigrants, I understand firsthand the challenges, hopes, and dreams that drive the immigration experience. Being the child and sister of immigrants, I saw their anxiety when processes were not making sense or working at any discernible speed. I stood in line at predawn hours to ask questions just to be turned away at noon in sight of the front door but not quite there.
This personal connection, combined with over two decades of professional experience, gives me unique insight into the lengthy wait times and complex processes that clients must navigate. When it comes to immigration cases, I am like a dog with a bone.
